We’re Back! Life Updates, New Mission, and What’s Coming on the Podcast

It’s been a while, but the Welcome to the Table podcast is back, and we couldn’t be more excited to dive into a new season with you! If you’ve been wondering where we’ve been or what’s next, this episode is for you. Here’s a quick recap of what we discussed and what you can expect moving forward.

A Year of Big Changes

After nearly a year off, we’re back with some big life updates:

• Khalil transitioned from his long-time role as a youth pastor to launch this spiritual coaching business called Growing Godly and complete  grad school. He’s also celebrating six months of marriage!
• Jeff welcomed a new baby into his family—little Koa Francis James—and continues to serve as a youth and children’s director for a network of churches.
• Sean Has taken on more responsibilities in his role, keeping him busy but grateful.

Through it all, God has been faithful, and we’re thankful for this new season of life and ministry.

A Renewed Mission

Over the break, we spent time reflecting on the purpose of this podcast. Our mission has always been about helping Christians navigate how to faithfully follow Jesus in today’s culture. This year, we’re sharpening that vision even more with a focus on curating a community of curiosity and conviction.

We want to encourage curiosity about God and His Word while staying grounded in the truth of Jesus. It’s about asking big questions, exploring timeless themes, and finding practical ways to live out our faith with confidence and grace.

What’s Ahead?

We’re thrilled to explore the biblical theme of exile this year. This powerful topic resonates with the challenges of being a Christ-follower in a culture that often feels far from home. How do we remain faithful and hope-filled when the world around us feels unfamiliar? Tune in as we unpack this theme and more in the episodes to come.
